Résumé

This study aimed to examine the role of transformational leadership in enhancing organizational excellence at the Electricity and Gas Distribution Directorate of Sonelgaz in Ain Temouchent. The study adopted the descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed to a sample of 70 employees. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS version 26. The results revealed that the level of transformational leadership in the directorate was high, with an overall mean of 3.61, while the level of organizational excellence was moderate, with an overall mean of 3.33. The findings also confirmed a statistically significant positive impact of transformational leadership on organizational excellence at the significance level of 0.05. Transformational leadership explained 58% of the variance in organizational excellence. At the dimensional level, empowerment had the strongest impact, followed by individualized consideration, then intellectual stimulation. However, the impact of idealized influence and inspirational motivation was not statistically significant. The study recommended developing a comprehensive strategic plan to improve the elements of organizational excellence, including innovation, service quality, organizational learning, employee satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
