Introduction: Type 2 diabetes is a disease characterized by chronic hyperglycemia, that is to say bytoo high a level of glucose in the blood. Blood sugar is controlled by insulin, It allows sugar to entercells to be used as fuel, Particularly in the muscles and liver. The objective of this systematic study isto determine whether the diet will have a beneficial effect in patients with type 2 diabetes. Method : The present work is a systematic study. The publications taken are observational, systematic ormeta-analytical studies between 2005 and 2021. Our work consists in determining the effect of dietin patients with type 2 diabetes, namely the glycemic parameters (FBG, HbA1c). Results : The systematic review of ten articles on the diet showed a significant positive effect of glycemicparameters in 80% of the studies analyzed, with a marked decrease in fasting blood glucose andglycated hemoglobin after the diet. Conclusion :Diet is beneficial in improving glycemic parameters in patients with T2D. In addition, non-modifiablefactors such as family history and patient age play an important role in the causative pathway of T2DM, and lifestyle factors (including diet) also contribute to the disease. appearance of the triple.en_US
