dc.description.abstractThe evaluation of writing skills in the French as a Foreign Language (FLE) classroom is a fundamental part of the learning process, as it allows teachers to assess learners’ levels in written production. It plays an important role in tracking their progress and adapting teaching practices to their needs. The purpose of this evaluation is to check the students' ability to express themselves in writing in a clear, structured, and accurate manner in French, according to their proficiency level. It is integrated at different stages of teaching: at the beginning to diagnose needs, during the learning process to monitor progress, and at the end to validate acquired skills. In FLE classes, writing evaluation is not limited to correcting mistakes—it also considers text organization, adherence to instructions, and the effectiveness of communication. Through this type of evaluation, learners can improve their written language skills and strengthen their autonomy in learning.en_US
