Water conditions life. It is clear that it is essential for every human activity and it represents a major constituent of living matter for living creatures. The need for water has increased continuously over time; in particular that it destined for human consumption. This water should be served in sufficient quantity and quality, should not contain substances that constitute a potential danger to human health. Our modest work aims to verify the physico- chemical and microbiological from source to consumer is good quality of drinking water from the town of Ain-Temouchent. Ain-Temouchent is supplied with water thanks to a mixture of different sources; so we made several withdrawals (Desalination station, Dam Ben Bahdel, Drilling barret 'a 4') and a sampling of their mixture during the months of April and May and from results of the analyzes of these samples we found that the water consumption distributed in the city is of good physico-chemical and microbiological quality and free of pathogen or toxic substance preventing its consumption.en_US
