Abstract
This research aimed to clarify the criterion of intentionality and acceptability in the modern
textual linguistic lesson, and to show their importance and impact on understanding the Qur’anic
text and the legislator’s intention through the mechanisms of active reading.
The research concluded that the admissibility has an important role in judging the coherence of
the linguistic structure of the Qur’anic text and, accordingly, the various purposes of the legislator
have been revealed through the implementation of reception strategies as required by the
Qur’anic text of the peculiarities of expression since both criteria contribute to the success of
communicative competence between the legislator and the recipients.
