dc.description.abstractBuckling of the drill string of an oil well and that are greater than 2 km can be dangerous risk of the drill string. Indeed, the buckling can destabilize the packing and leads to an abrupt manner to its rupture. The aim of our work is to prevent buckling of the pad, it has been designed with a theoretical and numerical study using the Ansys finite element calculation software. The results have shown that the addition of 44 mm drill collars at the bottom of the shaft to apply the WOB is merely necessary to avoid such buckling of drill rodsen_US
