Abstract
The Qur'anic text is distinguished by its eloquence and artistic style. It transcends its devotional role to reach figurative, aesthetic, and semantic dimensions that speak to both reason and emotion. Among these dimensions is what is known as scene construction, which transforms abstract meanings into vivid, dynamic images in the mind of the recipient, closely resembling media discourse in its function of influencing the audience and conveying messages.
This study aims to analyze the scene constructions in Surah Al-Masad, and to explore their media-related implications, by linking Qur'anic rhetoric with concepts from media discourse.
