Abstract

An important part of Algerian heritage old buildings, is in an advanced state of degradation, in the third millennium. This is mainly due to the continued lack of maintenance in respect thereof. Faced with this situation, the rehabilitation of the most deserving of this heritage buildings damaged, must be made the priority, in order to preserve and perpetuate it . Considerations by consensus in human society for the preservation of architectural heritage of nations can only reinforce this option. Thus, the present research focuses on rehabilitation as a process, allowing the preservation of built heritage degraded , especially the rehabilitation as a form of intervention in the built heritage , is needed more in the nature of work it implies , Heritage says "minor" or "ordinary" which constitutes the major part of the existing heritage buildings. Discussed in this research approach a rehabilitation method recognized that the approach is the preservation of ancient architectural heritage, it has enabled us in an advanced stage of our memory, to see through buildings taken as a case study and currently under rehabilitation Oran, that suitable conditions for the rehabilitation of the buildings mentioned , were not met according to the rules of art , as we have presented in this work. Indeed, the observed inexperience and sometimes avowed key stakeholders ( the OPG as a client representative, prime contractors and building companies ) engaged in the rehabilitation of these buildings , and the nature work selected for the rehabilitation of these buildings were not in favor of an irrefutable rehabilitation , to ensure the preservation in good conditions these buildings " rehabilitated ."
