Abstract

"Abstract of the master thesis : Digitalization is a powerful tool for combating corruption, as it reduces human intervention, secures transactions, and detects irregularities. However, it is not sufficient on its own; it requires political will, deterrent legislation, and a cultural shift within society. As for Algeria, it has embarked on digital transformation, but still faces challenges such as weak infrastructure, lack of training, and resistance to change, which necessitate accelerating reforms. Looking ahead, modern technologies such as artificial intelligence for data analysis and detecting corrupt patterns, and blockchain technology for immutably recording transactions and making them tamper-proof, open promising horizons for making public administration more transparent and accountable, especially if integrated into a comprehensive national anti-corruption strategy."
