وﻛﺎﻟﺔ ﺑﻨﻲ ﺻﺎف (BEA) واﻗﻊ الصيرفة الإسلامية ﻓﻲ اﻟﺒﻨﻮك العمومية دراﺳﺔ ﺣﺎﻟﺔ: ﺑﻨﻚ اﻟﺠﺰاﺋﺮ اﻟﺨﺎرﺟﻲ

Abstract

The study examined the state of Islamic banking in Algeria through the experience of the Banque Extérieure d'Algérie (BEA) between 2020 and 2026, based on an analysis of data and official reports. It found that Islamic banking has witnessed significant development driven by legislative and regulatory reforms, which have boosted financial intermediation and increased demand for Islamic products—particularly the *Murabaha* model. However, the sector continues to face challenges regarding the tax framework, a lack of adequate training and qualification, and the absence of an integrated Islamic financial market, all of which limit its expansion and the realization of its full potential
