Modern teaching methods are constantly evolving to meet the needs of today's learners. One such approach gaining popularity in education is the integration of interactive and playful techniques to support student success .This study investigates the effects of gamification on student motivation and participation in language courses with an emphasis on second-year foreign language learners at El Bachir El Ibrahimi Secondary School. Examining how game-based tactics might improve students' engagement and enthusiasm in language learning is the primary goal. A mixed-methods strategy was used to do this, which included interviewing three language teachers at the same institution and distributing a questionnaire to forty students. According to the research, gamification can enhance classroom participation and student motivation while creating a more lively and engaging learning environment. The study offers valuable insights into the advantages and difficulties of implementing gamified features in secondary school language instruction by emphasizing the viewpoints of both teachers and students.en_US
