Abstract

This study came to uncover the mechanisms of experimentation in the detective novel "A Cipher from a Mirage by Ismail Ben Saada ", and try to identify the most important features of experimentation employed by the contemporary novel. The introduction included a definition of the term experimentation and novel experimentation, as well as its concept among Arabs and Westerners, in addition to the detective novel, while the first chapter examined the features of experimentation in the contemporary novel and the detective novel, while the last chapter was an applied study of what we obtained in the theoretical aspect, and the research ended with a conclusion in which we collected the most important points reached in this study
