Abstract
The evaluation of the performance of human resources is one of the most important concerns of the
economic institution because it allows to compare the planned and accomplished results with
accuracy and objectivity, and this is in order to make the most important decisions with a strategic
dimension to the activity of the institution, As this study, which was conducted at Sonelgaz Ain
Temouchent, aims to highlight the relationship between the independent variable (evaluation of
human resource performance) and the dependent variable (the process of strategic decision-making).
Where a questionnaire was distributed to a sample of 50 workers in the company, where the (SPSS)
program was used and as a result of this study it was found that there is a positive correlation
between the two variables, n this way, the important role played by the evaluation of the performance
of human resources in the company becomes clear. Thus, the manager of the company (the strategic
decision maker) To attach great importance to this evaluation in accordance with modern methods
that allow it to have successful strategic planning, which achieves the company's goals and future
options.
