Abstract

This mémorandum amis to shed light on the state of Poetry and the status of the Algerian poet, particulary during the colonial période, when Poetry served as the sincere voice and the reflective mirror of social reality a role it continues to uphold to this day. Throught this study, we soght to reveal the relationship that connectes Poetry and religion, by means of an analytical Reading of modern Algerian Religious Poetry by Abdallah Rekkibi, In doing so, we démonstrateur how the poet was able to draw upon religion as a means to express his émotions and the concernes of his society, additionally, the study examines the most significant themes and trends addressed within this type of Poetry.
