Abstract
Cement grout is a very fluid mixture of cement, water and uses of adjuvant, widely
used to reinforcement of the soil, foundations, repairing cracks in structures.
Cement additions are growing in the cement industry, as their uses bring about an
improvement in the physic mechanical properties of cement materials, in particular the
reduction of the cement quantities used, the use of additions from waste such as glass
powder, proves to be an interesting solution, as it contributes to the reduction of the costs
of production as well as the reduction of this type of waste.
This experimental work studies the effect of the partial substitution of cement by glass
powder at different percentages (10% à 35%) respectively, and their effect on the physic
mechanical properties of cement grouts.
Addition of glass powder is given acceptable results compared to the control. This
addition improved maneuverability and mechanical strength.
