Abstract

This research deals with financial control from the Islamic and contemporary viewpoints In order to explain its importance in protecting public money from various forms of looting and waste, it also aims to highlight the distinctive features and mechanisms of financial control in Islam, and compare them with the contemporary economy. The study reached a set of conclusions, which are: that the Islamic economy is based mainly on spiritual and moral values deduced from the Book and the Sunnah, and its devices give importance to divine oversight. It is valid for every time and place, and does not contradict contemporary practices at all, but rather forms its backbone
