Abstract

After a journey of research and study on the poem by Anas Al Dghaim, we have concluded that coherence and cohesion are interrelated and complement each other. Each of them has its own artistic features that distinguish it, and neither can be dispensed with. While coherence is concerned with the form and outward appearance of the text, cohesion examines the meaning and everything related to it. This results in a coherent and cohesive text that is easily comprehensible to the audience
