Abstract

This research aims to study environmental literature in Rachid Boudjedra's novel "Timimoun". The theoretical section defines environmental literature as a literary movement that emerged in new contexts, exploring the relationship between humanity and the natural world. This trend is characterized by several features that grant it a unique place among literary genres. The applied section examines the components of the desert world in "Timimoun". Rachid Boudjedra's descriptions of the harsh yet beautiful desert landscape has made the novel a prominent work in contemporary Algerian literature.
