Résumé
This study examines fictionalization, representations of violence, and
value transformation in the Algerian novel, through an analysis of the
role of narrative in portraying social and political reality. It adopts a
descriptive-analytical approach to uncover the mechanisms through
which fictionalization is employed in constructing characters and events,
as well as to trace manifestations of violence and shifts in value systems
within the narrative text.
The study concludes that the Algerian novel, through narrative
fictionalization, succeeds in producing an artistic representation of
reality, revealing the dimensions of violence and social conflict, while
reinterpreting reality within a critical framework that carries both
intellectual and aesthetic significance.
