Abstract
The study aimed to investigate the relationship between organizational
congruence and self-efficacy at Belhaj Bouchaib University in Ain Temouchent.
This was achieved by examining organizational congruence across its three
dimensions (organizational similarity، organizational loyalty، organizational
belonging) as an independent variable، and identifying the dependent variable
represented by self-efficacy across its four dimensions (perceived
empowerment، exertion of effort، initiative، perseverance).
The study sample consisted of 80 workers from the university community،
selected through simple random sampling. Data collection utilized two
questionnaires: one measuring organizational congruence comprising 23 items ،
and the other measuring self-efficacy consisting of 35 items. Data analysis was
conducted using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version
20.
The study yielded the following results:
• There is a statistically significant correlation between organizational
congruence and self-efficacy among Belhaj Bouchaib University workers.
• The level of organizational congruence among university workers is low.
• The level of self-efficacy among university workers is high.
• There are no statistically significant differences in organizational
congruence attributed to gender، seniority، or educational level.
• There are no statistically significant differences in self-efficacy attributed
to gender، seniority، or educational level.
