Abstract

This research includes a study of the phenomenon of intertextuality in the novel ,which is considered a literary genre that has managed to establish its place in the literary scene . This is due to a number of writers , foremost among them the novelist Waciny Laredj, who is considered one of the pioneers of algerian novelists due to the quality of his writings. In this study, we sought to uncover the features and manifestations of intertextuality in The Mirage Wàmen (Untha al Sarab) by Waciny Laredj, where the author employed and incorporated all forms and types of intertextuality in his novel ( religious, literary, historical, cultural, and mythological intertextuality). This is evidence that he is a cultural encyclopedia across various fields of study.
