Abstract
Like all studies in the field of cultural criticism, which
is concerned with discovering implicit cultural patterns
and studying them in their cultural, social, political,
religious and psychological contexts, and given that
research in the field of implicit patterns is an important
issue to read what the novelist wants to convey in terms
of ideas and visions, we tried through our memorandum
entitled "Cultural Patterns in The novel "Safar Al Salkin" research and exploration behind the artistic
aesthetic in order to extract patterns that give the novel a
cultural dimension that increases its value as a literary
text capable of representing and simulating reality and
delving into its various issues and fields.
In our memorandum, we relied on cultural criticism as
a practice and effectiveness that uses statements and
procedural tools that belong to various sciences in its
search for the implicit, and because it is able to
90
encompass various issues and grasp their vast aspects.
Accordingly, the beginning and after the introduction to
the research dealt with basic concepts for the title of the
memorandum in addition to an overview of the novel
Then, in the first chapter, we touched on the linguistic,
cultural, and political systems and their impact on a
novel. As for the second chapter, we studied each of the
religious, social, and psychological systems, then a
conclusion of the most important results, followed by an
appendix pertaining to the novelist Muhammad Muflah
and his works, in the last a list of sources and
references, and then the index.
Key words: the cultural pattern, the social pattern, the
implicit pattern
