dc.description.abstractAfter the linguistic discourse, became prominent in basic education materials, which appeared clearly in textbooks, it was necessary to examine the nature of the discourse and the linguistic values it contains, this study aimed, through analyzing the fourth-grade textbook content, to identify the linguistic values it includes, in this stage, the child experiences cognitive and emotional growth. In this context, the study aimed to indentify the themes of their speech acts, the types of signals and clues, and how to focus on them and explain them in light of the educational context, the study relied on modern linguistic theirs and educational approaches that aim to achieve linguistic creativity among learners in the early stages of learning. The results showed that the textbooks reflects the four linguistic competencies requires internal enrichment, this requires restructuring the content educational, emotional, and linguistic roles.en_US
