Abstract

Stylistics is an effective tool for analyzing literary texts due to its ability to uncover expressive and aesthetic potentials within the linguistic structure. In the short story collection Marasi Ma'asi by the writer Rahim Khattar، a number of stylistic phenomena emerge that contribute to emphasizing meaning and deepening artistic impact. Among the most prominent is repetition، which the author employs as a means to highlight psychological emotions and intensify significance، while also enhancing the rhythmic dimension of the narrative. Irony is also a notable feature، as the writer uses it to reveal social and psychological contradictions، adding a satirical critical dimension in some instances. In addition، the phenomenon of detailed description stands out، reflecting the internal and external worlds of the characters and offering sensory scenes that support understanding and interpretation. Through these techniques، the writer demonstrates an awareness of the importance of language in shaping narrative vision and affirms the power of style in creating a literary text rich with meaning.
