Abstract
Total quality management is one of the modern administrative concepts
that have achieved great success in all fields in various industrial and service
sectors in developed countries, including the insurance sector, as it aims to
continuously improve and develop the performance of the insurance service, and
it is the gateway that can make a radical change in the organizational culture.
Inside the company and transforming it from the traditional administrative
method to the modern method that achieves a high quality level of insurance
service. As a result, many insurance companies have sought to apply the
principles of total quality management in their companies.
This study aims to raise the level of performance of the insurance
company and continuous improvement in the performance of the insurance
service provided to the insured. This study was applied in the Iraqi insurance
company by testing a sample of (10) employees in the company, and the
questionnaire was used as a means of collecting information, and the study
reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which was that the
principles of total quality management are applied in the Algerian insurance
company in an acceptable manner and it should do more to enhance.
