Contribution à l’étude des activités antioxydante et anti- inflammatoire de l’huile essentielle du Rosmarinus officinalis L. De la région d’Ain-Témouchent.

Abstract

The present study concerns the evaluation of the in vitro antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity of the essential oil of Rosmarius officinalis L, a medicinal aromatic species belonging to the family Lamiaceae. The method for the reduction of the radical DPPH• indicates that the essential oil of R. officinalis has a slow antioxidant activity compared to the reference antioxidant, ascorbic acid. In addition, the anti-inflammatory activity studied using the method of membrane stabilization of erythrocytes, showed an interesting anti-inflammatory property of our essential oil, similar to that of salicylic acid.
