Abstract
The present research work investigates the impact of incorporating authentic materials and Chat
Generative Pre-trained Transformer in EFL grammar classrooms. The focus was on improving
grammar learning among EFL students and familiarizing EFL grammar teachers with the
effectiveness of adopting new technologies in classrooms. The current research was a case study
designed to investigate the effect of integrating these tools in grammar learning and how they
can be applied effectively. The main aim of this research was to help the students learn the
grammatical rules easily and effectively with different techniques. To achieve this, two research
instruments ware used: a questionnaire devoted to second-year EFL students at BELHADJ
Bouchaib University, and a semi-structured interview designed for EFL grammar teachers.
After the phase of data collection, data were analyzed and interpreted quantitatively and
qualitatively. The research findings revealed that EFL students recognize the importance of
integrating authentic materials and ChatGPT in learning grammar rules. Moreover, they knew
that these tools facilitate the learning process. Additionally, grammar teachers supportted the
use of these tools in their teaching for better results despite the drawbacks of ChatGPT.
Eventually, this study contained some suggestions and recommendations on how to utilize these
tools in grammar classrooms to enhance learning.
