Abstract

The study was entitled "The role of traditional industry in the promotion of local tourism". To know the extent to which traditional industry has influenced the development of the tourism sector in Ain Tchent State by focusing on their interrelationship traditional industries contribute to the development of local tourism, In the study, we used the qualitative approach, supported by data provided by the Tourism and Traditional Industry Directorate of Ain Mtchent State. In our study, we used the interview tool to relate it to the curriculum used and the accuracy of its results, As a result of our study, the traditional industry sector is marginalized in the mandate despite the possibilities of artisans for its advancement The local tourism sector is regarded as .stagnant based on only one tourism activity
