dc.description.abstract"This study aims to analyze the role of organizational commitment in improving organizational performance by identifying its concept and dimensions (affective, continuance, and normative), as well as clarifying the concept and indicators of organizational performance. It also seeks to explore the nature of the relationship between these two variables. The study adopted a descriptive-analytical approach, supported by a field study conducted at Sonelgaz in Ain Temouchent using a questionnaire for data collection. The findings revealed a strong positive relationship between organizational commitment and organizational performance. Higher levels of employee commitment contribute to increased productivity, improved quality of work, enhanced teamwork, and reduced absenteeism and turnover rates. The results also showed that affective commitment has the strongest impact on performance, followed by normative commitment, while continuance commitment is more related to employee retention than performance improvement. The study emphasizes that adopting motivational policies and ensuring a fair work environment significantly enhance organizational commitment, leading to better overall performance."
