Abstract
The written discourse in the Arabic language textbook for the fifth year of primary school serves as a fundamental educational tool aimed at enhancing the learner’s abilities in comprehension and communication. The study focused on its linguistic components, represented by the phonological, morphological, syntactic, and semantic levels, in addition to its communicative elements that contribute to achieving educational effectiveness within the school context.
