Résumé
Our research study addresses a literary theme that generates great enthusiasm,
particularly in the literary press. This may come as somewhat of a surprise, given that its form,
the opaque foreign discourses it unfolds within, the complexity of its delivery, and the
hierarchical nature of its narrative progression all have the potential to unsettle readers. This
novel seems obviously stimulating, but it induces a strangely paradoxical reading and provokes
ambiguous feelings. The story focuses on an anguished and diffuse feeling gripping this woman
who believes she recognizes this man and confusingly connects him to a central and almost
erased event from her childhood.
