Résumé
This study aims to highlight the impact of social origin and its role in the
localization of digital culture within educational institutions by examining the
relationship between individuals' social, economic, and cultural backgrounds and
their ability to access and use digital technologies. The study adopted a
descriptive-analytical approach and relied on interviews conducted with members
of an educational institution.
The findings revealed that social origin plays a significant role in shaping digital
engagement. Socio-economic status, family educational level, and social
environment (urban or rural) influence opportunities for acquiring and utilizing
digital skills. The study also showed that material resources, family support, and
cultural capital contribute positively to the localization of digital culture within
educational institutions, while limited resources and insufficient digital training
remain major obstacles.
The study concluded that the successful localization of digital culture depends not
only on the availability of technological tools but also on reducing social
inequalities and promoting digital training opportunities to ensure equal
participation in the digital transformation process within educational institutions.
