dc.description.abstractThis study aims to highlight the importance of the fruit and vegetable drying project as an investment initiative aligned with agricultural sector development and food security efforts in Algeria. The project was chosen due to the growing need for modern preservation techniques to reduce waste and utilize surplus production. The findings reveal that the project creates added value for agricultural products, generates new job opportunities, and enhances local market competitiveness against imports. Market analysis also showed strong demand, especially during off-season periods. Overall, the project represents a strategic step toward achieving food self-sufficiency and boosting agro-industrial transformation.en_US
