Abstract

This study aims to know the tools for applying total quality management in higher education institutions in Algeria to achieve quality in its various outputs. The study found that, despite Algeria’s attempt to implement this system through the reforms it implemented by adopting the LMD system, which aims to enhance the quality of higher education outputs, the results achieved did not reach the required level, similar to many countries that It has implemented the total quality system in its universities, such as Malaysia, for example, as a result of the presence of a set of restrictions that prevented this.
