خطاب التهكم في منشورات مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي : قراءة في اللغة والدلالة

Abstract

This thesis addresses the phenomenon of sarcastic discourse on social media from both linguistic and semantic perspectives. The study begins with a theoretical introduction that explores the concept of discourse and sarcasm—both linguistically and terminologically—followed by an overview of social media platforms, highlighting the most commonly used ones such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and Skype. In the applied section, the research analyzes satirical caricatures that reflect social realities, focusing on elements such as form, characters, colors, and semantic context. The study also identifies the underlying sarcastic messages and provides a critical reading of each image. As for sarcastic expressions, the analysis centers on their linguistic structure and pragmatic context to uncover implicit meanings and communicative functions. The findings show that sarcasm is an effective tool for criticism and influence, relying on linguistic manipulation and irony. The thesis concludes with a summary highlighting the most significant results obtained.
