Abstract
This thesis focuses on the difficulties students face in structuring and organizing their written
productions in FLE (French as a Foreign Language) classes. Through field observation and an
experiment conducted during a pedagogical sequence based on writing a science fiction short
story, the study analyzes both linguistic and methodological obstacles encountered by
learners. It also explores the strategies used by the teacher to enrich students’ vocabulary,
enhance their planning skills, and encourage self-assessment. The findings highlight the
importance of gradual support and the need for continuous teacher training in writing
instruction.
