Abstract

This study aimed to verify the extent of the contribution of a preventive program to the development of moral thinking in juvenile delinquents/where the case study method,and the study tools of the semi clinical observation,and the moral thinking scale prepared by Dr.”fawah Abdel Fattah”.The head sample consisted of four (04) cases that wee chosen in the intentional way among the juveniles who have a weakness In moral thinking at the service centre for the prevention of youth in the etes of students eyes Ain tamushant ,and a tribal measurement of the level of moral thinking was made befor the implementation of the preventive program,the first case recorded a high improvement, which indicated a significant improvement in the level of moral thinking. The results of the study resulted in the following: - The preventive program contributed to the development of moral thinking in misdemeanor events. - The preventive program contributed to improving the judgment of the juvenile delinquor on behaviors in terms of right and wrong, so that the results of the study highlighted the existens of a marked differenc between he four cases in distinguishing between right and wrong, especially first, third and fouth cases, so that they recorded a second case showed a moderate improvement comared to the rest of the cases. - The preventive program contributed to improving the method of making the ethical decision of the delinquent juvenile in different situations. - The preventive program contributed to enhancing the moral awareness of the juvenile offender, and his reliance on moral principles and values, in addition to developing his level of awareness. - The preventive program showed effectiveness in improving the level of moral thinking in the juvenile delinquent.
