Abstract
This study aims to identify the impact of work stress on organisational loyalty. It was
conducted at the Internal Medicine Department of the Ahmed Madgri Hospital in the province
of Ain Temouchent. The study sought to determine the nature of the relationship between
work stress, in its various dimensions, and the level of organisational loyalty among the
department's employees, using a sample of 33 male and female employees.
We used a descriptive analytical and quantitative approach in this study, as these were
the most appropriate for the nature of the subject. The results showed that employees in the
department suffer from significant work stress particularly that associated with a heavy
workload and poor interpersonal relationships within the work environment. The study also
found that financial and moral appreciation are among the most important factors affecting the
level of organisational loyalty among employees, which requires the institution's management
to strengthen incentive policies and pay attention to the human aspect of the relationship with
employees.
