Abstract

In this study, we have dealt with the study of the problem of the quality of health services in Algeria. This study aimed to present the main international experiences in terms of financing the expenditure of its health systems in order to take advantage of them, to identify the reasons that have led to a significant increase in health expenditure in recent years in Algeria and to formulate some suggestions that would help increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the health financing system in Algeria. We have achieved several results represented in the financing of health system expenditures worldwide on three main financing models, which are National Health Services (NHS), Social Health Insurance (SHI) and Private Health Insurance (PHI). Health spending in Algeria depends on three main sources: state funding, social funding, and family funding.
