Résumé
The current study aims to shed light on the importance of the criminal investigator
mental health and its implications on criminal drug investigation substances. To do so, it
relies on the descriptive approach to analyze the relationship between the dimensions of
mental health and the criminal investigation. To collect data, a form was designed and
distributed to a sample (snowball sample) of 38 individuals consisting only of criminal
investigators in the state of Ain Temouchent. Then, the Spearman test and the Kruskal
Wallis test were used, relying on the statistical package SPSS26. The results showed no
statistically significant relationship between mental health in its dimensions (cognitive,
physiological, social, functional, cultural and psychological) and criminal investigation. The
results of studying the differences between personal variables and criminal investigation
were mixed, while it was concluded that there are differences, there are statistically
significant differences between the variables of professional experience, educational level,
marital status, and the criminal investigation variable, and there are no statistically
significant differences between the variables of age, job rank, type of training, and the
criminal investigation variable.
