Abstract

"This study aims to reveal the cultural and intellectual references in the detective narrative of the novel ""Collage"" by Ahmed Abdel Karim. The research includes an introduction, two chapters, and a conclusion, in addition to an appendix. In the first theoretical chapter, we focused on defining the detective novel and defining the cultural and intellectual references. As for the second applied chapter, we studied the heritage, religious, linguistic, and historical references in the novel ""Collage"". We concluded our research with a conclusion in which we summarized some of the research results and appendices."
