Résumé
In an organizational context marked by the continuous and imperative development of human
resources, this study analyzes the issue of promotion and its impact on job satisfaction within
the Directorate of culture and Arts of the province of Ain Temouchent. The importance of
promotion fir institutional effectiveness is undeniable. The study is divided into two parts : a
theoretcial section and a field study. It employed various methodological tools to obtain
results and test hyppotheses. The results demonstrate the positive effect between promotion
and job satisfaction, linked to improved financial circumstances and increased
responsibilities. Offering career advancement opportunities strengthens employee
effectiveness, particularly when promotion is based on fair policies and clear criteria
guaranteeing equal treatment
