Abstract

This study examines the impact of digitalization on the efficiency of financial management within organizations, with a particular focus on the case of Sonelgaz Distribution Company in Ain Temouchent. In the context of rapid technological advancements, digitalization has become a key driver for improving organizational performance and enhancing decision-making processes. The research aims to explore how digital technologies, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and digital financial tools, contribute to improving the accuracy, transparency, and speed of financial operations. It also investigates the role of digital governance, innovation, and competition in strengthening financial management practices, while considering the challenges and risks associated with digital transformation. To achieve these objectives, the study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach supported by a field study based on a questionnaire distributed to a sample of employees. Statistical methods were used to analyze the collected data and test the proposed hypotheses regarding the relationship between digitalization and financial management efficiency. The findings indicate that digitalization has a statistically significant positive impact on the efficiency of financial management. It enhances the quality of financial information, supports better decision-making, improves internal control, and increases operational efficiency. However, the study also highlights certain challenges related to implementation, such as technical constraints and organizational resistance.In conclusion, the study emphasizes the importance of adopting a comprehensive digital strategy and investing in technological infrastructure and human resources to maximize the benefits of digital transformation in financial management.
