Abstract

The research explores contextual irony as an artistic approach in creative writing .It is based on the duality of contradiction between reality and aspiration ، as well as truth and imagination . We appliedthis concept to Amina Ben Mansour short story collection "" who will buy the soil ?"" In order to uncover the flaseness of reality and itspsychological، social ، and moral contradictions . The collection presents various forms of irony-linguistic، narrative ، in a satirical manner that combines mockery with seriousness . This highlights the tention between appearance and truth،deepens the symbolic structure of the texts، and thus becomes an effective tool for critiquing reality through a free and conscious artistic style
