Abstract
The present research work aims first to investigate the reality of integrating
technology in general and video conferencing applications in education, and explore
its importance in teaching and learning grammar. Second, it tries to determine
different types of these online tools, then, to assess the impact of the integration of
video conferencing tools on student‟ motivation, interaction and achievement in the
grammar course. The investigator selected the second year EFL learners at Ain
temouchent university as sample population to make the research reliable.The
investigator used two research instruments: a questionnaire which was administered
to thirty (30 ) second year EFL students, and a semi-structured interview which was
conducted with two (2) grammar teachers .The gathered data were analyzed both
quantitatively and qualitatively. The obtained results showed that video
conferencing applications were used in an acceptable manner in the Department of
Letters and English at Ain temouchent University, in which teachers used Google
meet and Zoom cloud tools to teach grammar, in addition to traditional tools. Also,
they demonstrated the positive impact of integrating of these applications on
students‟ motivation, interaction and on the quality of teaching.
