Abstract
This study falls within the field of sociology and aims to analyze the social
representations of the teaching profession in a primary school within the field of
sociology . the research aimed to analyze the social representations of the
teaching profession in Algeria society , in light of the social , cultural , and
economic transformations the society has undergone in recent years.
The problem statement was formulated as follows :
Does belonging to different social classes within society affect their perceptions
of the primary school teaching profession ?
Does cultural and economic capital influence the nature of these social
representations ?
To address this problem , the following main hypothesis was adopted :
Social class affiliation directly affects the nature of the social representations
held about the teaching .
The study focused on the social representation of the teaching profession in a
primary school within the field of sociology .the research aimed to analyze the
social representations of the teaching profession in Algeria society ,in light of
the social ,cultural ,and economic transformation the society has dergone in
recent years.
