Abstract

This study seeks to uncover the poetics of language in the two short story collections by Azzedine Djelaoudji : for whom the throats cheer ? and the neight of confusion . these works are distinguished by the charm of their language , the deviation of their expressions , and the suggestiveness of their meanings . they serve as a clear example that aligns with the concept of poetics in its various essential features including creative and deviant language . All of this has contributed to giving a unique touch to the Algerian short story. Since the field of poetics is vast, it aims to explore the aesthetic dimension of literary works and express them through various concepts and methods .
