Abstract

"This study examines the role of intellectual property in protecting entrepreneurial innovation as a legal system that contributes to safeguarding creative works and enhancing their economic value within the knowledge-based economy. It highlights the importance of intellectual property rights in ensuring the protection of innovators’ rights and enabling them to exploit their creations and generate returns from them.

The study aims to clarify the conceptual framework of intellectual property and entrepreneurial innovation, identify the various forms of intellectual property rights and their role in protecting innovations, in addition to analyzing the legal protection mechanisms represented by administrative, civil, and criminal protection. It also addresses the importance of exploiting these rights as intangible assets that contribute to enhancing innovation, supporting the competitiveness of entrepreneurial projects, and strengthening their economic value.
