Abstract

"This study examines the role of constitutional judiciary in building the rule of law in Algeria by analyzing the concept and foundations of the rule of law and the development of constitutional review mechanisms in Algeria. It also highlights the role of constitutional judiciary in protecting the supremacy of the Constitution and safeguarding fundamental rights and freedoms. The study concludes that the Constitutional Court represents a key mechanism for strengthening constitutional legitimacy and maintaining balance between powers, despite the .challenges affecting the effectiveness of constitutional review in Algeria"
