Résumé
"This research addresses the topic of environmental administrative policing in Algeria between
environmental protection and administrative liability. It aims to highlight the role of
administrative authorities in protecting the environment through environmental administrative
police powers, which represent a preventive mechanism designed to avoid environmental
damage before it occurs.
The study also examines the legal framework governing environmental administrative
policing in Algeria by analyzing relevant legislative and regulatory texts, particularly the
Environmental Protection Law within the framework of sustainable development, as well as
identifying the main administrative bodies responsible for its implementation.
Furthermore, the research explores the limits of administrative liability in environmental
matters, especially in cases where environmental harm results from administrative fault or
misuse of power, by analyzing the legal basis and effects of such liability.
The study concludes that Algerian legislation has established an advanced legal framework
for environmental protection, but its effectiveness depends on proper implementation and
coordination among administrative authorities."
